Skincare for Eyes: THE ORDINARY Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG (30ml)

This light-textured formula, containing an extremely high 5% concentration of caffeine, is supplemented with highly-purified Epigallocatechin Gallatyl Glucoside (EGCG) from green tea leaves. Independent studies have demonstrated that the topical use of both caffeine and EGCG can help reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circles in the eye contour. Furthermore, additional studies have shown that caffeine can also diminish the look of cellulite.

The product does not include parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, animal oils, benzalkonium chloride, coal tar dyes, formaldehyde, mercury, or oxybenzone. It is vegan and cruelty-free, and does not contain alcohol, oil, silicone, nut, soy, or gluten.

It is important to note that hollowness in the eye contour, resulting from the structure of sub-dermal tissues like fat and bone, can cause visible shadows under the eyes. This shadow, which should not be confused with dark circles, cannot be addressed with topical skincare products, including this formula. Additionally, permanent puffiness in the eye contour area may be caused by fat deposits, and this type of deposit cannot be improved with topical skincare, including this product.
